Syncing with Rent Manager
To enable property syncing from Rent Manager to your Rent Fetch-powered website, you’ll need to configure the Rent Manager integration settings in the WordPress admin. This process involves obtaining specific credentials from Rent Manager and entering them into the Rent Fetch settings panel. Below are step-by-step instructions to guide you through the setup.
Step 1: Enable Rent Manager Integration in Rent Fetch Settings
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Rent Fetch > Settings in the left-hand menu.
- Under Data Sync, select the option, “Update data on this site with data from the API.“
- Toggle on the Rent Manager option.
Note: If the toggle doesn’t appear, ensure you have the Rent Fetch Sync add-on installed and activated.
Under Data Sync: Avoid selecting “Delete all data that’s been pulled from a third-party API” unless you intentionally want to remove all synced content.

Step 2: Fill Out the Rent Manager Settings Fields
With your credentials ready, enter them into the corresponding fields in Rent Fetch. Need help on how to get your Rent Manager credentials?

Step 3: Save Your Settings
- Scroll to the top of the settings page.
- Click the Save Changes button (WordPress save button).
- The page will refresh, and your settings will be saved.
Step 4: Verify the Integration
After saving:
- Wait a few minutes for the initial sync to begin (syncing typically takes time depending on the number of properties).
- Check the properties section to ensure your properties are listed.
- Check your website for the synced properties, floor plans (unit types), and units.
- If properties don’t appear or sync fails, check the following:
- Ensure the company code is entered correctly (case-sensitive).
- Verify your IP address is whitelisted in Rent Manager.
- Confirm your Rent Manager account has API access enabled.
- Check for any error messages in the sync logs (if available in your Rent Fetch setup).
Troubleshooting Tips
- Properties not loading: Double-check the company code format and ensure IP whitelisting is complete.
- Sync not working: Verify API access is enabled in your Rent Manager account.
- IP whitelisting issues: If your server uses dynamic IP, contact your hosting provider for a static IP or update whitelisting as needed.
- Authentication errors: Ensure the company code matches your Rent Manager API subdomain exactly.
Additional Notes
- Synced data includes property details, floor plans (RentManager calls these “unit types”), units, and availability information.
- Rent Fetch will automatically sync updates hourly once configured.
- Manually added properties, floor plans (unit types), and units will not be overwritten by synced data.
- Rent Manager integration syncs all properties in your account; individual property selection is not available.
