Obtaining Your Rent Manager Credentials

Before filling out the settings in Rent Fetch, you’ll need to gather the following information from your Rent Manager account or your Rent Manager point of contact. If this is your first time integrating with us, follow the steps below to enable the Rent Manager integration with Brindle so we can connect your unit pricing and availability data to our plugin, Rent Fetch.

Client to do:

1. Request Activation with Brindle within Rent Manager. Go to Admin > Marketplace > Available Integrations > search for “Brindle Rent Fetch” > click “request activation”.
2. Fill out the Request Activation form and select the properties you want to provide Brindle access to in the API.
3. Confirm and provide the following information for Brindle:
   • Company code
   • Property ID(s) you wish to sync
   • IP Address for whitelisting

Rent Fetch team to do:

4. Our team will then ‘Enable Integration’ inside Rent Manager’s Partner Web Access portal and whitelist the IP addresses whitelisted within Rent Manager for syncing to work properly.

Rent Manager Company Code

• This is your organization’s unique subdomain in the Rent Manager API.
• It’s typically in the format companycode.api.rentmanager.com (e.g., mycompany.api.rentmanager.com).
• You can find this in your Rent Manager account settings or API documentation.
• Contact your Rent Manager administrator if you’re unsure of the exact format.
• This code is case-sensitive, so enter it exactly as provided.

IP Address Whitelisting

• Rent Manager requires your server’s external IP address to be whitelisted for API access.
• The settings page will automatically detect and display your current external IP address.
• Provide this IP address to your Rent Manager administrator to add it to the whitelist.
• If your IP changes (e.g., due to server migration), you’ll need to update the whitelist.

Important: Ensure your Rent Manager account has API access enabled and the necessary permissions for property, unit, and availability data.
