Floor Plan Buttons Settings
This settings page configures the buttons that appear on floor plan grid items when hovering, allowing customization of availability, contact, and tour actions. You’ll want to pick which button(s) fit your use case, because there are many combinations we’ve found that management companies prefer.
Availability Button
The Availability Button is designed to provide a direct link to leasing or availability information for each individual floor plan. This button will display by default whenever there’s an availability URL associated with the floor plan, regardless of whether units are currently available or not. Its primary purpose is to facilitate quick access to detailed availability data, such as unit listings or online applications (when syncing, this will link to the default leasing location for most APIs).
- Enable/disable checkbox: Controls whether the button appears on floor plans.
- Button label: Customizable text displayed on the button (default: “Lease now”).
- Hide unavailable: An optional setting to only show this button when the floor plan has units available or a specified date when units will become available, preventing display on completely unavailable floor plans.
Unavailability Button
The Unavailability Button serves as a fallback option for floor plans that do not have any current availability. Unlike the Availability Button, this button uses a static link that applies to all floor plans without availability, making it useful for directing users to general contact forms, waitlists, or information about future openings. Its purpose is to maintain engagement even when specific units aren’t available.
- Enable/disable checkbox: Controls whether the button appears on unavailable floor plans.
- Button label: Customizable text displayed on the button (default: “Reach out”).
- Link: A single URL destination for all instances of this button, typically pointing to a contact page or external resource.
Contact Button
The Contact Button provides a consistent way for users to get in touch regarding floor plans. This button links to either a static page on the website or a third-party location, and the same link is used for every floor plan. Its purpose is to offer a standardized contact method across all floor plans, useful for general inquiries, property management contact, or centralized leasing information.
- Enable/disable checkbox: Controls whether the button appears on floor plans.
- Button label: Customizable text displayed on the button (default: “Contact”).
- Link: A single URL destination for all instances of this button, pointing to a contact page or external contact system.
Tour Button
The Tour Button is typically used to link to external tour scheduling systems or internal tour request forms. While it can be overridden with floor plan-specific links, this setting provides a global fallback link. Its purpose is to streamline the process of scheduling property tours, directing users to the most appropriate booking mechanism for virtual or in-person tours.
- Enable/disable checkbox: Controls whether the button appears on floor plans.
- Button label: Customizable text displayed on the button (default: “Schedule a tour”).
- Link: A fallback URL for tour scheduling that applies when no floor plan-specific tour link is available.
